Can my kids bypass SafyRi using a VPN?

On paid plans, VPN detection is built in — you'll receive an instant push notification if a VPN app is detected on a monitored device. For the strongest protection, install SafyRi's DNS profile directly on each device rather than just at the router level. This way protection follows the device everywhere, including on mobile data.
Does it work on iPhones?

Yes. SafyRi generates a DNS configuration profile that installs on iPhone or iPad through Settings. It applies system-wide across all apps and browsers. Note that Apple's privacy restrictions mean screen snapshots aren't available on iOS, but all DNS monitoring, content blocking, SafeSearch enforcement, and alerts work in full.
Will my children know they're being monitored?

SafyRi runs silently at the DNS level with no visible app on the child's device. You have full control over transparency. We recommend being open with older children about digital safety monitoring — research shows it's more effective long-term than covert monitoring.
How is SafyRi different from free options like Google Family Link?

Google Family Link shows you app usage time but not specific domains visited, and it requires the Google ecosystem. SafyRi operates at the DNS layer — it sees every single domain lookup across all browsers and apps, regardless of what browser or account the child uses. Per-child DNS profiles also mean different rules for different children from a single dashboard, which Family Link doesn't support.

Activity logs are stored for 7 days (Free), 90 days (Family), or 12 months (Pro), and can be permanently deleted at any time from your account settings.
